I’m having one last hurrah with Untellable before my next book, A Thousand Little Secrets releases next month, and you’re invited!

I hope you’ll join me on this YABound book blog tour, hosted by some super fantastic bloggers. Each site will feature a review of Untellable, or one of five specially chosen excerpts. Enjoy!

What Untellable is all about:

Aspen Dwyer, recently emancipated from foster care, is searching for a place to hide from a past with secrets too dark to share. Honey Creek, Ohio, presents itself as the best place to start a new life and stay undercover. There she meets Colton Moraine, a man with strong family ties and an even stronger sense of loyalty. His boisterous, loving family welcomes Aspen with warmth she hasn’t felt in years. She’s surprised at how quickly and deeply she falls for Colton. When a dangerous criminal comes to Honey Creek, intent on his revenge against her, Aspen must choose between two options. She can stay and risk her life and the rejection of the people she’s grown to love or she can run again, leaving behind any chance of a happy future.

What people are saying about Untellable:

  • Deeply detailed characters fill this sweet and suspenseful story about an emotionally wounded girl who has to choose between life or love. ~~~Long and Short Reviews
  • Untellable is a delightful mix of mystery, suspense, and love. Lilly creates characters that are warm, memorable, and a bit quirky. I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to Lilly’s next book. ~~~Brenda Maxfield

Past blog tours

Shades of the Future is available for sale now, and its blog tours have begun. I’d be thrilled if you’d follow me through the tours and perhaps occasionally comment. Each week I’ll post a schedule so you’ll know where to find me and when.

Free Designer Glasses!

In honor of the sunglasses Mariah Davis uses to see the future, I’ll be giving away a pair of designer aviator sunglasses from to a commenter at the end of July’s tour stops. I’ll do the giveaway again at the end of August’s tour stops.

We’re coming into the final seven days of the Shades of the Future Blog Tour. It’s been a wild ride, and it’s going to get even wilder! This week I’m giving you some twofers. • Aug. 22 This is a two stop day! First, I’m being interviewed at Rogue’s Angels where I reveal a little known fact about myself, and how I maintain my creativity. The next stop is a five question interview for the Ring of Power blogs with Terri Bruce. I’ll be answering five questions a day for five days.
  • Aug. 23 Another two stop day! Welcome to My World of Dreams asked me to give you a peek into my writing space complete with pictures. Welcome to my lair! Afterwards, come visit and read the second part of my Ring of Power interview with historical fantasy author T. W. Fendley.
  • Aug. 24 We have a two stop day again! I’m being interviewed at It’s Raining Books. I’ll tell you how I came up with my story idea, and you’ll get to read a blurb for my February 2013 novel, Untellable. Afterwards, I’m also doing part three of my Ring of Power interview at The Realms of a Fantastical Mind.
  • Aug. 27 This is the fourth day of my Ring of Power interview series, and I’m at the blog of Sandra Ulbrich Amlazan. I’m also featured at Night Owl Reads with a post about the inspiration for Shades of the Future.
  • Aug. 28 This is the final day of my Ring of Power interview series and I’m at Dean’s Writing Time.

Hot August Nights Blog Tour Week 2, August 13-17, 2012

Here we are heading into August and the Shades of the Future Blog Tour is heating up. There are interviews, guest posts, and a contest. Also, each time you comment on a blog, you’re entered to win a pair of designer sunglasses from So far, Cathy C. Hall and Harley Brooks have won a pair of Rockstar Aviators. I still have one more pair to give away.  If you’re ready for a new pair of shades, come visit me on my book blog tour!
  • Aug. 13 I’m starting off the fourth week of blog touring being interviewed by TaraLen Walker who asks some fun questions about my favorite things.
  • Aug. 14 What are five things you can do with a pencil? Think quickly, then compare your answers to mine at Lindsay’s Scribblings. She also asks a fun question about getting locked in a closet with Johnny Depp. *swoon*
  • Aug. 15 Today at Hope Dreams Life Love, I answer some questions about who I am as a writer.
  • Aug. 16 If you’re looking for a way to spend a day pampering yourself to the hilt, come by the Guilty Indulgence blog. I’ll show you how it’s done. Of course, if you have some fabulously indulgent ideas to share, I’d love to hear them!
  • Aug. 17 At Moonlight, Lace, and Mayhem, I chat about the consequences of seeing into the future.

  • Aug. 4 and 5 Long and Short Reviews has nominated my novel for their Book of the Month award. The reviewer wrote, “This is ultimately the coolest YA book I’ve ever read: You don’t have to be a teen to love this book!” Come by the LASRYA site to vote or see the results.
  • Aug. 4 and 5 If you’re on Goodreads, and you add my book to your “To Read” list on August 4th and 5th, you’ll be entered to win a free copy of Shades of the Future. I’ll be randomly selecting two winners.
  • Aug. 6 Long and Short Reviews  is hosting a guest post about what I learned from my heroine, Mariah Davis.
  • Aug. 7 I’m being interviewed at Bunny’s Reviews. She asks me about my favorite authors and how I name my characters.
  • Aug. 8 I’ll be at A Writer’s Life. If you visit today, you’ll get to know me better. She asks about my hobbies, my family life, and my secret obsession.
  • Aug. 9 I’m being interviewed by the Young Adult BookAddict. If you stop by here, you’ll find out about my quirks, my inspiration, and my February 2013 novel release, Untellable.
  • Aug. 10 I’m over at the Live to Read blog. Mariah Davis, the heroine in Shades of the Future, hijacked this interview. She’s like that. She wanted to tell you about an incident with the glasses that didn’t make it into the book. It’s sort of like a movie outtake with the main character.

Week Two Attractions July 23 – 27, 2012 on the Shades of the Future Blog Tour

  • July 23: What was your first car, and whatever happened to it? I’m warning you right now, this post at My Pathway to Books isn’t pretty. It isn’t about the cute little Volkswagen or sexy Camaro some of you might have driven as a first car. No, it’s quite hideous. I hope you’ll come by and share in the misery of my first car.
  • July 24: The Dream Seekers Adventures blog is the sensational stop of the day. I’m chatting about how to get kids reading and how to get them to love it. I’m going to tell you about my Magic Bullet for creating readers.
  • July 25: Today I’ll be at the TeacherWriteBookaholic blog sharing a story about the intersection of dreams and waking life.
  • July 26: Today we’re going to lighten up and have some fun with an interview on the Aside from Writing blog. I’ll tell some little known facts about myself, including my favorite candy, my favorite social media, and the book I always wish I’d written.
  • July 27: I’m thrilled to be on The Daydreamer blog talking about what your daydreams can tell you about yourself.

Book blurb for Shades of the Future to give you a hint of what the story is about:

What would you give to see the future? Would you make your dreams come true? Would you change the things you didn’t like?

Mariah Davis loves animals, running, and her hunk of a boyfriend, Kevin Creamer. Everything looks bright for her until the day she finds a pair of sunglasses that allow her to see the future.

When she glimpses a disaster looming, she tries to avoid it but fails. She has a car accident that lands her in a wheelchair, smashing her hopes for a running scholarship to the veterinary program at Ohio State University. She pushes Kevin away, thinking he’ll want to end their relationship now that she can’t walk.

Will she ever learn to trust and love again? She could search for an answer in the sunglasses. But she’s afraid what they reveal might destroy her.
